四指马鲅Eleutheronema tetradactylum
别名：午笋、白午、丝条、四指鱼、马鲅

体延长，前部粗壮，后部侧扁。头中等大，稍平扁。吻圆钝。口大，前位，稍倾斜，下颌略突出于上颌。上下颌及犁骨均具绒毛状齿带。眼大，脂眼睑发达。鼻孔每侧2个，前鼻孔圆形，后鼻孔裂缝状。鳃孔大，鳃膜分离，不与峡部相连。鳃耙细长。体被栉鳞，头部亦被鳞。侧线完全，平直。背鳍2个，分离；第一背鳍小，具8棘；第二背鳍长，具1棘、14-16鳍条。胸鳍低位，下部具4条游离丝状鳍条，故名“四指”。腹鳍胸位，具1棘、5鳍条。臀鳍与第二背鳍相对，具3棘、15-17鳍条。尾鳍深叉形。体背侧灰褐色，腹侧银白色。各鳍浅灰色或淡黄色。
